UX Design Lead - WL – Waterloo, Canada | Permanent

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX Lead to manage a group of UX/UI Specialists for a corporate client of ours in Waterloo, full-time.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years working on complex web experiences and large websites in a corporate environment or digital agency
  • Previous experience working on sites for customers and B2B 
  • Highly proficient in UXR, UXD, usability and accessibility
  • Experience building a strategy with a large cross-functional team that delivers a strong user experience 
  • Proven track record (able to show metrics and KPIs) of UX leadership on multiple ($5M+) projects leading ideation, sketching, and prototyping. 
  • Ability to identify problems and lead UX and UI teams to ensure a consistent calibre of work 
  • Proactive self-starter with 2+ years of managerial experience fostering a collaborative atmosphere of innovation with a wide range of stakeholders and team members 
  • Able to utilize both agile and waterfall methodologies while scoping, estimating and planning the delivery of UX
  • Experience building user tests to gather insights
